If the property is vacant, the first thing we do is to change the locks. Second, we put the utilities in our company’s name. Third, we pay any outstanding water or sewer bill that’s due. Fourth, of course, we will do a BPO.
OCCUPIED REO PROPERTIES
If the property is occupied, we will attempt to make contact to meet the families, which is always the toughest part, during the initial visit. We have families too, so we understand their predicament, and it does hit home.
